2017 Scholarships Recipients

The Frankfort Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 Art and Mildred Neal Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each. Seniors of Frankfort High School are eligible to apply for the scholarship awarded at the graduation ceremony. This year's recipients received a $1,000 scholarship to help with college expenses.

Dylan Wenz

Dylan- WenzDylan Wenz is the son of Amy and Brian Studer and Dan Wenz. While in high school, Dylan participated in art, FFA and National Honor Society. He was the class salutatorian and was selected by the faculty to receive the K.S.H.S.A.A. Citizenship Award. Dylan is enrolled at Southeast Community College in Lincoln. He will work on completing a degree in Fire Protection Technology to become a firefighter. Dylan participated in the Meals on Wheels program, Catholic Heart Works mission trips and worked for a local construction company.


 

Josh Armstrong

Josh ArmstrongJosh Armstrong is the son of Kristin and Roger Armstrong. While in high school Josh participated in art, football, basketball, track, vocal, band and FFA. During his senior year, Josh was enrolled in Highland Community College Industrial Welding program. Josh also worked at J&R grocery store and participated in the Meals on Wheels program. Josh will continue his education at Highland to complete the Industrial Welding program.
