Theodore J. and Regina E. Kuckelman

Theodore J. and Regina E. Kuckelman were each born in Seneca, Kansas.  They were married in 1946 after Ted returned from serving in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II.  They lived in Dallas, Texas, until after their first son Richard was born.  In 1948 prior to the birth of their daughter Beth, they moved to Frankfort where they remained until their deaths, Ted in 2000 and Jean in 2010.  The family grew in 1950 when David was born and again in 1953 when Martha arrived.  Two other daughters Barbara and Regina were born prematurely and died soon after birth.  During Ted’s career as a salesman he sold cars, farm machinery, life insurance and real estate.  He served on the city council and was mayor during the centennial celebration in 1967.  Jean became city clerk in 1959 and stayed in that employment until her retirement.  They were both involved in numerous community organizations and in Annunciation parish activities.
