Mary Ann Sisk

Mary Ann Sisk (Red), age 85, passed away on October 24, 2019, after a long battle with lung cancer.  Mary Ann was born April 26, 1934 in Frankfort, KS, to Charles and Laura (Granger) Rodgers. She was a graduate of Frankfort High School and was a bookkeeper/accountant for many years before retiring.  She played basketball in high school, performed in school plays, including a skit of Sylvester and Tweety Bird, in which she was Sylvester.

Mary Ann (MA) loved most to dance and spend time with her family.  She loved shopping with her daughters and grandchildren, and in the evenings playing cards with family; including Golf and Rummy.  Christmas was her favorite holiday, as family would gather to celebrate and enjoy each other's company.  She loved to decorate for the holiday, listen to Christmas music, and spoil her family with many gifts, especially the matching PJ's!

She was preceded in death by her parents (Laura and Charles), brother (Clifford Watson) and son (Steven Charles Sisk).  She is survived by her ex-husband Gerald Sisk and 3 daughters Shelly (Tim) Suther of Frankfort, KS; Roxanne McMillian of Lakewood, CO; Jamie (Chris) Larson of Salinas, CA.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Chad Suther, Brooke (Justin) Olberding, Riley Suther, Mackenzie McMillian, Mickayla McMillian, Katelyn (Matt) Thorup, Casey Larson and 2 great grandchildren (Faith and Tate Olberding).

We are a very close family and without our matriarch will have to depend on each other for the advice, encouragement, love, and comfort that she provided to us all.  Mary Ann was a sweet, sassy, independent, caring, loving, generous, and one of a kind lady. We were blessed to have her in our lives.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
