Gerald (Jerry) E Sisk

Gerald Eugene Sisk (Jerry) passed away on March 8, 2020, at 86 years old.  Jerry was born in Fanning, Kansas, to Alfred and Cecil Sisk.  Jerry was a graduate of Frankfort High School.  Jerry was versatile in many careers, such as bricklayer, vice president of a life insurance company, owner/manager of hotels and restaurants.

Jerry loved to spend time with his family and friends.  Most describe him as a sweet, loving, kind, honorable, gentle man.  He loved to tease us, give us good advice (by putting a hand on our shoulder, looking us in the eye, and after the advice, smile and chuckle), along with praising us all with compliments on many occasions.

He was preceded in death by his parents (Alfred and Cecil Sisk), brother (Harold Sisk), sisters (Ruby Keck and Faye Bramhall), son (Steven Charles Sisk), ex-wife (MaryAnn Sisk), and step-son (Jonathan Watley).  He is survived by his wife Denni Sisk of currently Holton, KS; 2 brothers (Hank and wife Betty Sisk of Frankfort, KS, and Sonny Sisk of Manhattan, KS); 3 daughters Shelly (Tim) Suther of Frankfort, KS; Roxanne McMillian of Lakewood, CO; Jamie (Chris) Larson of Salinas, CA; 1 step-daughter Shoshana (Benjamin) Bokelman of Austin, TX; 1 step-son Ronald Watley of Austin, TX.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren Chad Suther, Brooke (Justin) Olberding, Riley (Shelby) Suther, Mackenzie McMillian, Mickayla McMillian, Katelyn (Matt) Thorup, Casey Larson; 2 great grandchildren (Faith and Tate Olberding); 1 step-granddaughter Whitney (Dustan) Houghtaling; and 3 step-great grandchildren (Raegan, Ryssa and Rhydian Houtaling).

In our hearts you will hold a place no one will ever fill.

We will always treasure our memories of his playful humor and his kind heart.  He was an exceptional man and will be greatly missed!
